Hove Business Association is to hold a garden party to raise money for a local children’s charity, the Starr Trust.
The business networking group has teamed up with Hove Museum and Art Gallery to put on the garden party which it is calling Hooray for Hove and Portslade.
The new mayor of Brighton and Hove, Councillor Mo Marsh, will be among the 140 guests at the event which starts at 5pm on Wednesday (5 July).
The business association promises English strawberries and fresh cream, courtesy of the Blatchington Road Co-op, and Pimm’s and fizz donated by Matthew Clark, accompanied by live singing from local duo Melissa and Reece.
And the Brighton Yoga Foundation will be present to help guests relax and unwind after a hard day’s work.
Hove Business Association chair Victoria Mason said: “We aim to encourage collaboration among businesses in Hove and Portslade.
“What better way to do that than a garden party in the beautiful Hove Museum grounds!”
