A child had to be rescued by firefighters this afternoon after their hand became stuck in a lift.
Two fire engines from Roedean and Preston Circus were sent to a block of flats in Donald Hall Road just before 4pm after receiving a call.
A fire service spokeswoman said: “The crews released a child whose hand was trapped in a lift. We left the scene at 4.08pm.”
