Two Brighton men have been sent for trial on drug dealing charges by Brighton magistrates who issued a warrant for the arrest of a third suspected supplier.
Remy Steven Douglas, Phillip Barnes and Alan David Barnes all face charges of conspiring to supply class A drugs.
Remy Douglas, 49, of Phoenix Rise, Brighton, appeared at Brighton Magistrates’ Court this morning (Thursday 13 April) charged with conspiring to supply heroin in November last year.
Phillip Barnes, 48, of Glenwood Lodge, in Grand Parade, Brighton, also appeared before the same bench this morning.
He was charged with conspiring to supply crack cocaine between dates in September and November last year.
They were remanded on conditional bail until Thursday 11 May when they are due to appear for a preliminary hearing before a judge at Lewes Crown Court.
They were ordered not to associate with each other or with Alan Barnes, 42, of Gloucester Street, Brighton, who is wanted on a warrant.
He faces charges of conspiring to supply heroin last autumn and having crack cocaine with intent to supply on Monday 13 March.
