A Brighton man has been jailed for five years and eight months for having heroin and crack cocaine with intent to supply.
Dean Gill, 58, of The Crestway, Hollingdean, pleaded guilty to having the class A drugs at Lewes Crown Court last month where he was jailed by Judge Janet Waddicor.
He was caught by Sussex Police in September last year in one of a series of raids during which officers have arrested 59 people. He was also arrested four years ago for having crack cocaine.
The latest arrests were part of a six-month operation involving officers from the Community Investigation Team in Brighton and Hove supported by officers from the South East Regional Organised Crime Unit (SEROCU).
Sussex Police said: “So far 46 people have been charged, with 11 released on bail pending further inquiries, one cautioned and one summonsed.”
