Brighton and Hove Albion are to revert to letters on shirts instead of numbers on the back. So as to make their players more identifiable from a distance in the Premier League
David Stockdake for instance will wear a big S on the front of his shirt. And Glenn Murray a big M. That will also form part of the Amex.
Solly March will wear Ma instead. And Sam Baldock, Bruno and Gaetan Bong will draw lots before each match.
A club spokesman confirmed the club will announce the change at midday today and said: “Any fool can see it’s a shame Bobby Zamora is no longer with the club.”
This article is obviously a hoax as there is an apostrophe missing from the headline. Perhaps players should be identified by different punctuation marks.
