A pair of fishermen had to be rescued while out in the Channel this afternoon after their boat’s rudder failed.
The Brighton Lifeboat was launched at 12.45pm to a fishing boat with steering problems six miles south west of Brighton Marina.
A spokeswoman said: “The skipper on the boat was feeling unwell so we put a crew member on board while we towed the boat back to the marina.”
The boat was back at the marina by 3pm.
