Brighton and Hove Police first issued a witness appeal earlier this month after three attacks within 24 hours of each other on Tuesday 3 and Wednesday 4 of January.
In each case, a young man cycled past women and assaulted them, smacking a woman’s bottom in Portland Place, Brighton grabbing a woman jogger’s arm and bottom in Somerhill Road, Hove, and slapping a woman cyclist’s thigh in Madeira Drive, Brighton.
This morning, the force put out another appeal for anyone else who has been targeted in this way to get in touch, as well as anyone who might have more information about the attacks.
A Sussex Police spokeswoman said more incidents had happened since the first appeal, and all were being linked, although in the most recent attacks the victims had not been able to give a clear description of the man.
The description issued with the first appeal was a white man, in his early 20s, 5ft 10in, of stocky build and wearing a dark coloured hooded top with the hood up. He was riding a red and white bike.
