A missing 16-year-old girl from Hove has been found safe and well, Sussex Police said today (Monday 9 January).
The force said: “Thanks to all who shared our concerns for the welfare of missing Hove teenager Ella Sears. Happily she returned home safe and well on Saturday (7 January).”
The teenager had been missing since New Year’s Eve. She was reported missing last Tuesday (3 January) and Sussex Police issued a public appeal for help in finding her on Friday (6 January).
She returned home the very next day.
Separately, early today another missing teenager was found, in Brighton, after going missing from his home in Ford, near Arundel.
Sussex Police said today: “Missing 14-year-old Dean Milburn from Ford has been found safe and well.
“Police were concerned for the safety of Dean who had not been seen since Friday evening (6 January).
“He was found at Brighton Railway Station in the early hours of Monday 9 January.”
