Roads were closed just outside Brighton Station late this morning (Monday 19 December) and a man was taken to the Royal Sussex County Hospital.
Sussex Police issued an appeal for witnesses, saying it was unclear whether the man had been struck by a vehicle – as was suggested on the North Stand Chat website.
The force said: “A male pedestrian was taken to hospital with what are believed to be minor injuries following an incident in Terminus Road, Brighton, on Monday morning (19 December).
“The road was closed for around half an hour after the incident at 11.11am. It is not clear at this time whether the man was in collision with a vehicle or collapsed or fell in the street.
“Any witnesses are asked to email 101@sussex.pnn.police.uk or call 101 quoting serial 462 of 19/12.”
