Sussex Police issued an appeal for help in finding a missing teenage girl from Brighton today (Monday 19 December).
The force said: “A Brighton teenager has gone missing after coming home from school, packing a bag and leaving the house.
“Verphy Kudi, 15, recently returned after going missing before when she was found in London but disappeared again on Thursday afternoon (15 December).
“She has texted her mother over the weekend but has not indicated where she is.”
Missing persons co-ordinator Vicky Morris said: “Verphy is only 15 and we are really concerned about her safety, welfare and who she may be associating with.
“She is black, slim, 5ft 5in, with very long braided black hair, black at the front and blonde at the rear.
“It’s quite possible that she may be in the Brixton or Clapham Junction area of London.”
Anyone who sees her or who knows her whereabouts is asked to phone Sussex Police on 101 or email 101@sussex.pnn.police.uk quoting serial 1362 of 15/12.
