Brighton Kemptown MP Simon Kirby met police and crime commissioner Katy Bourne to discuss crime and anti-social behaviour in the Peacehaven and Telscombe Cliffs area of his constituency.
Mr Kirby met the police commissioner on the day that the post office in Telscombe Cliffs had been burgled.
The Conservative MP said that they also discussed local policing and other issues raised by residents, including anti-social behaviour at the Meridian Centre.
Mr Kirby said: “I meet regularly with the police and welcomed the opportunity to speak to Katy about many issues including the recent events in Peacehaven and Telscombe Cliffs which I know are of great concern to many local residents.”
The police and crime commissioner is currently asking local people to give their feedback on the 2017-18 Sussex Police precept consultation.
