A community centre and park group held their annual Christmas wreath making and fair this afternoon (Saturday 10 December).
The Friends of Hangleton Park held their Christmas get-together at the Hangleton Community Centre, in Harmsworth Crescent, Hove, next to Hangleton Park.
Dozens of families enjoyed a variety of activities, including wreath making, as well as a magician, Santa, tombolas and raffles.
Nick Lewry, the chairman of the Friends of Hangleton Park, said: “It’s been a great day.
“We rely on a lot of dedicated volunteers. I’d like to thank them and I’d also like to thank the Hangleton Community Centre and the Hangleton and Knoll Project for their amazing support.”
Councillor Lewry said that the event had raised about £300 which will be used to look after and improve Hangleton Park and to support Hangleton Community Centre.
