Firefighters from Brighton and Hove were sent to tackle a flood, fire and car crash in the space of 24 hours.
East Sussex Fire and Rescue Service said: “At 5.35pm yesterday (Wednesday 30 November) two appliances from Preston Circus and Roedean were sent to Freshfield Road, Brighton, following reports of one car into a wall. No one trapped and no action required by crews.
“At 8.58pm yesterday Brighton firefighters were sent to Sussex Street, in Brighton, after an out-of-control bonfire was reported.
“The accidental fire was out on arrival of crews but cupboards were burnt and damage caused to wiring.”
And just after 9pm on Tuesday evening (29 November) Hove firefighters were sent to Stirling Place, in Hove, where electrics were being flooded. Firefighters isolated the water supply to the property.
