A man has been arrested over the rape of a 14-year-old girl at The Level in Brighton, Sussex Police said.
News of his arrest came just over 24 hours after a public appeal by Sussex Police.
The force said: “Police are continuing to investigate the rape of a 14-year-old girl at The Level in Brighton on Sunday 16 October.
“A 29-year-old man, of no fixed address, has been arrested on suspicion of rape and currently remains in police custody while inquiries continue.
