A woman suffered serious injuries, including several broken bones, after being hit by a car in Brittany Road, Hove, last night (Wednesday 12 October).
The woman was on foot when she was hit by a red Mini One driven by a 61-year-old Shoreham woman.
Sussex Police said: “Police are appealing for witnesses to a collision in Brittany Road, Hove, which left a pedestrian seriously injured.
“It occurred at about 10.40pm on Wednesday 12 October. The pedestrian, a 39-year-old local woman, sustained multiple fractures.
“She was taken by ambulance to the Royal Sussex County Hospital, Brighton, where she has been detained for treatment.
“The car which collided with her was a red Mini One, driven by a 61-year-old woman from Shoreham, who was unhurt.”
