Brighton and Hove News will be completing a Memory Walk this weekend to raise money for dementia.
A series of “Memory Walks” are taking place across the country this month to raise money for the Alzheimer’s Society, the leading charity for people with Alzheimer’s and other forms of dementia.
Approximately 225,000 people develop dementia every year according to the charity, which is the equivalent to one person every three minutes.
The Brighton Memory Walk begins at Hove Lawns at 11am tomorrow (Saturday 8 October) and Brighton and Hove News staff will be walking 7km to raise funds for dementia research.
