The Bull in Ditchling has won two awards at the Great British Pub Awards including the top prize as Pub of the Year.
It was also named the best freehouse at the awards in London last night (Wednesday 5 October) where 88 finalists made the shortlist in 16 categories.

The Bevy, in Hillside, Moulsecoomb, was shortlisted in the Community Pub of the Year category. It picked up a prize at CAMRA’s awards last year.

And the Better Half, in Hove Place, Hove, was a finalist in the Newcomer category having been transformed from the Red Lion.
Previous category winners from the area include The Office, formerly the Green Dragon, in Sydney Street, Brighton, and the George Payne, formerly the Kendal Arms, on the corner of Payne Avenue and Kendal Road, in Hove.
The awards are run by the Morning Advertiser, the trade publication for publicans.
