A Brighton student had a novel excuse for being late to lectures this morning – he had to take hundreds of post it notes off his car.
A group of practical jokers plastered the sticky notes all over the VW Polo while it was parked in Hanover Terrace overnight.
The unlucky student discovered the prank as he left for university at about 9.45am today.
Although the car was parked a little way from the kerb, it’s not thought this was a motive, but instead it was done by the student’s friends.
