Concern is growing for a missing teenage girl who Sussex Police believe is in the Brighton area.
The force said: “Police are worried about Southwick teenager Bonnie Rose May Clarke who is still missing after a week.
“The 16-year-old was last seen at about 10.30pm on Monday 26 September at her home in Whitelot Way. She has not been seen or heard from since.
“Officers believe she may be in the Brighton area although she could have travelled further afield.
“Bonnie is white, about 5ft 10in, of medium build, with shoulder-length blonde hair. She wears glasses and speaks with a Welsh accent.”
Detective Sergeant Kate Witt said: “We are becoming increasingly concerned for the welfare of Bonnie who is only 16 and vulnerable. We would like to hear from anyone who has seen Bonnie or knows of her whereabouts.”
Bonnie has also been known as Keisha Jones in the past.
Anyone who can help detectives to trace Bonnie is asked to phone Sussex Police on 101 or email 101@sussex.pnn.police.uk. If she is in danger or in need of urgent medical attention, dial 999.
