A motorcyclist from Brighton suffered serious injuries in a crash with a car on the Brighton and Hove border, Sussex Police said this afternoon (Thursday 29 September).
The force said: “Police are investigating a collision between a car and a motorcycle which occurred at the junction of Dyke Road and The Upper Drive.
“It happened at around 3.30am on Sunday (25 September) and involved a red and white Yamaha motorcycle and a blue Skoda Octavia car.
“The motorcyclist, a 23-year-old man from Brighton, sustained serious hand and arm injuries and was taken to the Royal Sussex County Hospital, Brighton.
“The car driver, a 31-year-old man from Portslade, was unhurt.”
