Brighton & Hove Albion 1 Barnsley 0
Albion lead Barnsley at halftime.
An exquisite goal started from Gaetan Bong’s clearance from the Albion penalty area. Out to Anthony Knockeart who took out three Barnsley players with one drag back. Tomer Hemed laid the ball into the path of Glenn Murray who side footed home.
Knockeart has shown great skill so far.
Another occasion taking a pass from Bruno the French winger side stepped one challenge and then wrong footed James Bree with a quick change of feet.
Adam Hammill has had a couple of decent strikes from distance for the Tykes.
One chance saw Sam Winnell place a header wide from six yards. But he was flagged offside.
Worryingly for Albion Beram Kayal looked injured as halftime approached and Knockeart was hobbling.
More worringly Bong, Lewis Dunk and Bruno all have yellow cards.
