Police are hunting for a Brighton man to return him to prison after he broke the terms of his release licence.
Sussex Police said this afternoon (Friday 19 August): “Police are keen to trace a convict who has failed to comply with a licence that allowed him to leave jail early.
“Police are seeking Aria Majidi, 25, from Brighton, who is wanted for recall to prison after breaching the terms of his licence for release.
“Having received a 20-month sentence for affray and dangerous driving at Lewes Crown Court on (Friday) 12 February, Majidi had been freed on licence on (Sunday) 31 July.
“But on (Thursday) 4 August a warrant for his recall was issued after he failed to live at a release address in Brighton.
“Majidi is currently thought to be in the Hastings and St Leonards area.
“He is described as white, 5ft 9in, of medium build, eleven and a half stone, with short brown hair, blue eyes and stubble. He has a pierced left ear.”
Anyone who sees Majidi or who knows his whereabouts is asked to phone Sussex Police on 101 or email 101@sussex.pnn.police.uk.
