A missing 16-year-old boy has been found safe and well in Brighton after Sussex Police issued a public appeal for help tracing him.
Ovie Pateman went missing from his home in Newhaven at lunchtime on Friday 5 August and was reported missing that night.
The police asked for help finding him last Thursday (11 August). He went to John Street Police Station in Brighton yesterday (Monday 15 August).
Sussex Police said in statement issued today (Tuesday 16 August): “Ovie Pateman, 16, who was missing from his home in Newhaven since Friday, returned safe and well on Monday (15 August). He called in to Brighton’s John Street Police Station.”
