Sussex Police issued a public appeal to find a man and a woman today (Thursday 28 July) because of concerns about their welfare.
The force said: “Police are appealing for a driver and a woman who got into his car in Brighton to come forward.
“At about 12.20pm on Sunday (24 July) a black Vauxhall Corsa drove on to the grass of Victoria Gardens, Old Steine. A man got out and approached a woman near by and shouted at her to get in the car, which she did. He then drove off.
“The man is white, of stocky build, around 6ft 2in, with short hair shaved at the sides and longer on the top and possibly wearing a white t-shirt.
“The woman is white with long dark hair which was tied back. She was wearing a red t-shirt and may be called Sky.”
Detective Sergeant Vanessa Britton said: “We are appealing for both the man and woman involved to come forward and make themselves known so we can ensure their welfare.”
Sussex Police urged the man and the woman – and anyone who knows who they are – to phone the detectives on 101 or email 101@sussex.pnn.police.uk.
“may be” not “maybe” Frank.
It’s a modal verb not an adjective. Big lolz 😉
Thanks, Mark. Corrected.
