Two cars crashed in Hove shortly before the rush hour this afternoon (Monday 11 July) on a busy route back into town.
One of the drivers was believed to have suffered “a medical episode” shortly before the crash on the A2038 King George VI Avenue, Hove, known locally as Snakey Hill.
The driver was taken to hospital by ambulance, Sussex Police said, although her condition was not believed to be serious.
The aftermath of the crash – which happened at about 4.10pm this afternoon – led to a queue and some delays during the rush hour as drivers poured off the A27 Brighton bypass.
