Rumours are rife in the online communities that the Seagulls are about to re-sign former striker and current Brighton resident Glenn Murray.
Murray, who cost Albion £300,000 from Rochdale in January 2008, left the club for arch-rivals Crystal Palace in July 2011 after his Albion contract expired.
The Cumbrian forward scored 53 times in 118 Seagulls appearances, all in League One and domestic cup competitions.
Murray left Palace for Bournemouth for a fee of £4 million in September last year – quite a price for the 32-year-old.
Although just speculation, Murray signing on a season-long loan would make sense for both Bournemouth and the Albion.
Remarkably, Murray has scored four Championship goals at the Amex.
Two for Palace and two for Reading.
