Police are appealing for witnesses after a disturbance was heard in Bevendean Brighton and a car found damaged in the road.
Officers were called at around 2.30am on Sunday (19 June) but on arrival no one was present. A black Ford Focus car was abandoned at the junction of Auckland Drive and Heath Hill Avenue with damage consistent with having involved in a collision.
Detective Inspector Julie Wakeford said: “It is still unclear exactly what has happened but we are following a number of lines of enquiry. We are concerned that whoever was travelling in the Ford Focus is likely to be injured and would like to hear from them or anyone else who can provide any information.”
