Business owners are hoping the public will help solve a break in after a burglar with a distinctive receding hairline targeted a Portslade café at the weekend.
The man with the widow’s peak was captured on CCTV at about 3.30am on Saturday (28 May) and a plea to find him went out the same day on Facebook. He stole about £400.
Members of the Buzz on Boundary group – supporting trade in Boundary Road, Hove, and Station Road, Portslade – were asked to help Buondi Café, by Tesco in Station Road.
The group was asked: “Buzzers please help! Early hours this morning the café Buondi was broken in to, the café next door to Tesco.
“If anyone heard anything or saw this man around about 3.30 am this morning or even knows him please get in contact with me.
“The police have been informed but any other information … we would be highly grateful. Thank you, Buzzers. Please help catch this low life.”
