Brighton and Hove Albion is one of the top ten best supported second-tier football clubs in Europe, according to a league table published yesterday (Thursday 12 May).
Albion had an average home gate of 25,583 at the Amex – putting the club ninth in the table published by Spanish website Deportes y Finanzas.
The only Championship club above Albion was Derby County in third spot with an average gate of 29,663.
They were beaten into first place by the top side in the Scottish Championship, Glasgow Rangers, with 45,325. German club Nuremberg were second with 30,723.

There were five Zweite Bundesliga teams in the top ten and most clubs in the German second tier made it into the top 50 along with almost every Championship side.
But Middlesbrough were the only other Championship team to make the top ten, just behind Albion, with an average attendance of 24,628.
