A three-day food festival is getting under on Hove Lawns today (Saturday 30 April), with masterclasses, competitions and dozens of stalls.
The Foodies Festival features top chefs putting on a show, including Alun Sperring, from the Chilli Pickle, Dave Mothersill, from the Coal Shed and the Salt Room, and Michael Bremner, from 64 Degrees.
There will be a “Street Food Avenue” hosting a range of cuisine from French and Turkish to Argentinian and Mexican, and including Japanese, Thai, Malaysian, Korean, Indian and African.
Celebrity chef Aldo Zilli is due to serve Italian Burritos as part of his new street food offering.
As well as loads of tasters, there will also be a chilli-eating challenge.
Thirty thousand visitors are expected over the three days.
