A win against Derby at the Amex on Monday afternoon by two or more goals would see the Seagulls need just a point against Middlesbrough at the Riverside Stadium on Saturday, May 7.

If Brighton beat derby they are on 40 points. Boro are on 38. Therefore goal difference is an irrelevance, Brighton draw sees them up with 41pts (boro 39).
