Cricket fans wanting a flavour of the future were treated to a dash of Salt and Pepper at Hove yesterday (Wednesday 20 April).
The pair showed a first class sense of humour as Sussex played out a draw with Essex in the County Championship.

Cheeky Sussex fan Stuart Ashby savoured the moment having lined up the shot. He said: “They were both good sports at being photographed together – probably they had never been asked before.
“If their careers flourish and they end up playing for England they will probably get fed up with being asked every week.”

If anyone wanted A Cook, they didn’t have to go far. On the field the England opener Alastair Cook made a meal of the Sussex attack. He carried his bat with an unbeaten 127 for the visitors, having managed only a single in the first innings.
