Police are searching for John Michael Guerin, who is wanted for assault.
The current location of the 43-year-old, also known as Sean Walsh, is unknown, though he may be in or around Peacehaven or Brighton.
He is wanted in connection with the incident which occurred in Brighton on 30 March.
Anyone who sees him is asked not to approach him, but to call police on 101.
