In cricket Sussex resume their County Championship match against Essex at Hove. Sussex were 360 all out at the close of play yesterday (Monday 18 April) with Essex 108 runs behind and with three wickets remaining.
Play resumes at 11am at the County Ground.
Then this evening up the Race Hill, in Brighton, the first flat meeting of the season takes place with the first race at 4.50pm.
Former champion jockey Jamie Spencer is expected to take a couple of rides on the six-race card, as is Timmy Murphy, the former jump jockey who switched codes to the flat recently.
At 7.45pm Brighton and Hove Albion take on Queen’s Park Rangers at the Amex, in Falmer, in a vital Championship clash. Good results here and elsewhere could see the Seagulls retake second place in the table with three games to play after tonight.
You can keep up with all the action from the Amex and afterwards here at Brighton and Hove News.
