Fire crews were called out to deal with flooding at two properties last night – one in Brighton and one in Hove.
The fire service said: “East Sussex Fire and Rescue Service were called to reports of flooding affecting electrics in First Avenue, Hove, yesterday.
“One appliance from Hove was mobilised to the scene at 7.29pm on (Tuesday) 29 March. Crews isolated the leak and made the area safe before leaving the scene at 8.05pm.
“East Sussex Fire and Rescue Service were called to reports of flooding affecting electrics in London Road, Brighton, yesterday.
“One appliance from Preston Circus attended the scene at 8.43pm on (Tuesday) 29 March. Crews isolated the leak and made the area safe before leaving the scene at 9.26pm.”
