Albion boss Chris Hughton said this lunchtime that he expects Steve Sidwell to train tomorrow (Friday 18 March) .
Hughton told Brighton and Hove News that Sidwell sustained “a very sore injury”. Sidwell appeared to injure the top of his foot late in the game against Reading on Tuesday night (15 March).
Hughton went on to tell @bhcitynews that Sidwell had “wanted to train today (Thursday) but the club’s medical staff thought it better he left it until tomorrow”.
Bobby Zamora is also expected to travel to Milton Keynes. The legendary striker missed Tuesday’s win against Reading with a hip injury.
Hughton also revealed to Brighton and Hove News he would be celebrating St Patrick’s this evening but probably with a soft drink and that Guinness “wasn’t his tipple”. He added: “I know the values of a glass of Guinness but it’s never been my favourite.”
The Albion boss, who made 53 appearances for the Republic of Ireland from 1979 to 1991, said that although he was busy he would be celebrating St Patrick’s day in his own way.
