Three men have been arrested after a vicious attack in Brighton left a Spanish man with a broken jaw.
The victim was walking up West Street towards the Clock Tower with a group of friends at about 4.10am on Saturday 12 December when he was approached by two men. One of them became verbally abusive and punched him in the face.
CCTV pictures of three men being sought by Sussex Police were published just over a fortnight ago.
The force said yesterday (Friday 26 February): “Three men wanted in connection with an unprovoked attack on a Spanish man in Brighton in the early hours of (Saturday) 12 December have been arrested and bailed.
“The trio, aged 18, 19 and 20, and all from Crawley, were arrested on suspicion of inflicting grievous bodily harm without intent after they were identified on CCTV at Moka nightclub in Crawley on (Saturday) 20 February.
They have been released on bail until (Tuesday) 19 April, pending further inquiries.
