Brighton and Hove Albion boss Chris Hughton told Brighton and Hove News this morning that Albion had a “very, very good relationship” with the former European champions.
He spoke amid concerns that injury to Anthony Martial could prompt United to consider a recall of young loan striker James Wilson.
Hughton said that the lad who came on (Marcus Rashford) did well and that he thought it was always good when a new local lad performs that well. Hughton went on to say that as far as he was aware the Wilson loan situation remained unchanged.
The Albion boss also told @bhcitynews that Geatan Bong was back in full training. However, he may not be quite ready just yet. Hughton said: “You can’t get the fitness without playing the games so it’s all about us selecting the right moment for him.”
He also said that would still be a number of weeks before Uwe Hünemeier is available for selection.
