Three people suffered minor injuries as a bus and lorry crashed on one of the main roads into Brighton this morning (Wednesday 17 February).
Sussex Police and South East Coast Ambulance Service attended the accident involving a number 49 bus in Lewes Road near the bottom of The Avenue. Traffic disruption was minimal.
The force said: “Police have been called to a collision between a bus and a lorry in Lewes Road, Brighton.
“A wing mirror on the bus was knocked off as a result of the collision, which occurred on the southbound carriageway close to the University of Brighton shortly before 11am.
“Three bus passengers with pre-existing conditions are reported to have sustained minor injuries.”
