A police constable based in Brighton faces a public gross misconduct hearing next week.
PC Forrest Knight is accused of accessing information unlawfully and sharing some of the details with others.
He is also accused of entering false information in the system for booking on and off duty.
The officer has been suspended. He was based in the Operations Team at Sussex House, in Crowhurst Road, Hollingbury, although the force no longer uses the building.
His case is expected to be dealt with on Wednesday (24 February) at the Sussex Police headquarters in Lewes.
Sussex Police said: “A public gross misconduct hearing will take place at 10am on Wednesday 24 February at Sussex Police HQ.
“PC Knight is a member of the Operations Team. At the time of his suspension, he was based at Sussex House but that facility is now closed.”
