A man robbed a convenience store shopkeeper at knifepoint in Hove in the early hours of this morning (Monday 1 February).
Sussex Police issued an appeal for help tracing the robber who stole £300 from the Moonlight Convenience Store, in Church Road, Hove, opposite the Carnegie library.
The force said: “At around 2.20am on Monday (1 February) a man entered the 24-hour Moonlight Convenience Store, in Hove, threatened the cashier with a knife and demanded money.
“He escaped with some £300 and is believed to have run off in an easterly direction along Church Road towards Brighton.
“The suspect is described as 5ft 10in, wearing a dark blue jacket, goggles (similar to those worn by swimmers), a tightly-tied white scarf, a black baseball cap with a multi-coloured peak and gloves.”
