A pedestrian has been hurt in another hit and run in Brighton.
Sussex Police said: “Witnesses are sought to a hit and run following which a pedestrian sustained a foot injury in Brighton.
“A car is reported to have run over the foot of the man, believed to be in his twenties, at the bottom of St James’s Street, close to the junction with Old Steine.
“The incident occurred at about 2.45am on Thursday (28 January).”
