A Brighton restaurant worker who had been missing for five months was found safe and well within hours of his disappearance being published in the media.
Sussex Police issued an appeal for help tracing Biwash Magar at just after 8am today (Wednesday 20 January).
Shortly before 1pm the force said: “A man who was missing from Brighton since August has been located following a media appeal for information about his location.
“A caller to Sussex Police advised that Biwash Magar, 33, was safe and well at an address in Watford and checks have confirmed that information.
“Many thanks to those who have published and spread the word via social media, which provided a very quick response.”
