Moulsecoomb Community Leisure Centre is celebrating its 25th birthday this weekend and is inviting the public to help mark the occasion with lots of free activities.
On Saturday (23 January) between 9am and 6pm the leisure centre will have a range of free activities for all ages, followed by a roller disco between 6pm and 7.30pm.
The free activities will include exercise classes, table tennis, boxing displays, wheelchair basketball demos, badminton, handball and short mat bowls.
For the kids there will be face painting and messy play activities to keep them entertained and there will be access to special membership offers to commemorate the day.
The centre’s café will be open for refreshments too.
To end the day’s celebrations there will be a roller disco run by GYSO (Get Your Skates On) where there will be prizes for wearing the best disco fancy dress costume. Entry to the disco costs £4 with a £1 skate hire fee.
