1) Bobby Zamora scoring his 82nd Albion goal on his 35th Birthday and just two weeks shy of being 16 years since his first ever Seagulls goal. His return, irrespective of how this season pans out, has been one of the greatest success story’s in the clubs recent history.
2) The Lewis Dunk and Conner Goldson partnership – a central defence pairing that we could be seeing a lot more of. Goldson has waited a good while for his chance and after his Wolves blip, looks like he is taking it.
3) David Stockdale’s consistentcy- Stocko made some good and some routine saves. But best of all commanded his area well. And looks happy with Goldson and Dunk in front of him.
4) Albion’s almost forgotten red third strip. Reminiscent of Spurs away back in 1977. And Peterborough away back in 1986. But nothing like the 91 play-off final disaster
5) The fact that the Albion are back up to 5th and just six points off automatic promotion. The Seagulls fell out of the playoff places for around 40 minutes on Saturday afternoon.
