The body of a man was found washed up on Brighton beach earlier this week.
Police were contacted by a member of the public who had seen a body on the beach near the Volks railway line at Brighton on Tuesday (12 January) just before 8am.
Officers attended and the body of a man aged in his late 40s was discovered at the water’s edge. Police say the death is not being treated as suspicious and the coroner’s officer is dealing with it.
