A driver who died in a crash in the centre of Brighton has been named by police.
No other vehicles were involved in the accident.
Sussex Police said: “The driver of a silver Ford Puma which crashed off the road at Old Steine, Brighton, near its junction with Edward Street on Friday 18 December and who subsequently died has now been formally identified.
“He was Brian Wilson, 48, of Queen’s Road, Worthing.
“A post-mortem examination on (Thursday) 24 December confirmed that he had suffered a medical episode at the wheel.”
The details of Mr Wilson’s death have now been passed to the coroner.
