A 60-year-old man who was last seen in Brighton has been reported missing to Sussex Police.
The force said: “Police are concerned about the welfare of missing 60-year-old Brian Bennett, from Peacehaven.
“Brian was last seen when he dropped his wife in Brighton at around midday on Wednesday 23 December in a red Vauxhall Corsa.
“He was due to go straight back to his home address in Mitchelldean.
“He is described as white, 5ft 10in and of medium to large build with short brown and grey hair.
“He was last seen wearing a maroon V-neck jumper, a blue polo shirt, grey trousers, and a black padded jacket.
“He has a missing right thumb and his left index finger is heavily bandaged.”
Sergeant Tony Hall said: “We are concerned about Brian because this is out of character for him.
“Please contact us if you have any information which can help us find him and make sure he is ok.”
