Eleven Brighton and Hove Albion fans are banned from going to football matches, according to Home Office figures.
In total 534 fans of Championship clubs were the subject of banning orders.
The number of banned Albion fans was lower than for all Premiership clubs and for all but eight Championship clubs. Sixteen League One and League Two clubs had worse figures.
The Home Office said that, on Tuesday 8 September, there were 2,181 football banning orders in force, down 92 – or 4 per cent – on a year earlier.
Since the previous year 484 new banning orders have been issued. This is also part of a reducing trend.
Only one new banning order was issued to a Brighton and Hove Albion fan – the joint lowest figure for any club in the top two tiers except for Crystal Palace. No Palace fans were banned.
The Home Office added that in the 2014-15 season there were 1,873 football-related arrests, down 400 – or 18 per cent – from the previous season. Of those, 702 were supporters of Championship clubs.
Ten Albion fans were arrested – for drink-related offences or violence or public disorder – a figure beaten only by Blackburn Rovers supporters, with nine arrests.
