The Brighton Belle has made it on to a list of the world’s best-known trains, in a poll across four continents conducted by YouGov.
The pollsters carried out the survey for the National Railway Museum and asked respondents to name five famous trains.
The Brighton Belle came 24th out of 25 listed in the results, just ahead of the fictional Hogwarts Express, from the Harry Potter series.
